Facebook is overwhelming with religious promotions

Now a days, I have been noticed that the most popular social media platforms are overwhelming with religious advertisements especially among the Indian communities. India is blessed with many religions and casts which might be one of the reasons for this, or the people might not have any other things to do, or somebody might be deliberately doing this. Around three years ago, the situations were entirely different and most of the active social media were not affected by these kinds of religious polarizations among the people. Here I am not supposed to harm any of your religious feelings and I am not against any religion which has got a great influence in all of our cultural heritage. However, it is also making many problems to the communal harmony, we have already gone through a hell lot of religious crisis, issues and discrimination in different field of life and witnessed people killing each other in the name of religion. So people please stop doing this to our younger generations, and do not try to inject these venomous religious thought into their minds.

As far as I concerned social media should be considered as a medium for entertainment, fun and healthy relationships. Why would people make this as a medium to promote anger and photoshoped miracles of their God. It would rather keep all your religious faiths and believes in your mind, and follow the good messages of all religions in your life rather than showcasing in a public place. We have to raise a collective voice against the biased activities over social media websites. The internet has become an inevitable part of human life and our young generation is more active around this web space. It will be an effective medium of communication and influence people from different parts of the word. Hence it must be protected from all illegitimate activities which will hassle the lives of human beings.

I am very surprised about it myself. Religious and political groups have taken social media by storm by passing nonsensical images as truths and these are shared by youngsters who cannot be bothered to verify the authenticity of thse news items.

But again, it is more surprising that kids as early as 16-18 have blind affinity to certain religions and religious parties…makes one wonder!

I did not understand how people find time to do such things ? They must explain the benefit of this as well. Are they doing something useful by spreading this crap ? I feel like they are sadist to see people fighting each other
